Enhanced Jessner's Treatments
These innovative and proven light-to-medium depth peel formulas effectively exfoliate with blends of lactic, citric and salicylic acids and resorcinol, while bleaching and inhibiting pigment production with kojic acid and hydroquinone (where indicated). These peels help repair and reduce breakouts, control oil, soften lines and provide a more even, smoother skin texture.
TCA Peels
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peels are often thought of as very aggressive and producing substantial discomfort. PCA Professionalô TCA peels are very different from the standard. Our TCA solutions are blends formulated with many ingredients including lactic acid, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), plumping phytohormones and kojic and azelaic acids to produce dramatic results without the discomfort and downtime associated with traditional TCA peels.
Retinol Treatments
The cream consistency of PCA SKIN's retinol treatments creates an occlusive barrier that allows the vitamins, antioxidants and other actives in these rich treatments to better absorb into the skin for maximum benefits.
Oxygenating & Detoxying Treatments
Use these treatments to keep skin free of pollutants and toxins, leading to a brighter and clearer complexion.
Body Treatments
PCA SKIN has developed a chemical peel treatment combining novel ingredients with an elegant application technique to make all over skin beauty within reach. Body treatments are an excellent choice for treating hands, arms, legs, feet, chest and back.
What is permanent makeup?
Permanent makeup is the art and science of implanting natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. Because the outermost layer of skin, the epidermis, is always shedding and renewing itself, you are looking at the color through a thin veil of skin. When a procedure is completed, the color will appear darker than the final result. This is because the color is in both the epidermis and the dermis. The color in the top layer will flake off during the healing process lightening the overall effect. It is putting the right color in the right place so you can look better naturally.
How long will it take to recover?
You'll look like you have had a good cry for several hours following an eyeliner procedure. It is advised to apply cold packs (not ice) during the first few hours. Eyebrow procedures have the least swelling. Lip color often involves temporary swelling. Treated areas (brows, eyes, lips or camouflage) will appear very exact, dark, and intense for approximately 3 to 6 days. What appears to be too dark on your initial visit, in most cases will exfoliate (peel or slough) in approximately 5 to 7 days. As the healing progresses, the color will continue to soften within the next 30 days. The treated area may then be too light in color and a touch up visit may be necessary.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Permanent cosmetics last a long time, but not forever. As you become accustomed to your new makeup it is not uncommon to want more. You will want to freshen up your new makeup every couple of years. The darker the color the longer it will stay.
Is it painful?
All procedures are done using topical anesthetics. These creams and gels are applied to the desired area before and during the procedure to assure you of the most comfortable experience possible.
Reasons for Permanent Makeup
For those who are active and want to save time, people with poor eyesight, have allergies to make-up, aging changes in brows, lips, and eyes, are physically incapable of applying make-up or anyone who wants to always look their best and wake up made up!
Microdermabrasion is
a progressive treatment that resurfaces the skin while offering the benefit of
precision care. Recent articles substantiate the ability of the treatment to
result in superior skin exfoliation through a vacuum system. The system stimulates
reproduction of the fibroblast of new living cells at the basal layer of the
epidermis. In addition to enhanced collagen reproduction, microdermabrasion creates cell turnover and improved blood flow.
Initially the instant effect is a resurfacing of the skin. During the next
three days additional benefits result and include:
Reduction in sun
induced pigmentation problems.
Reduction of whiteheads, blackheads, formations resolution from lack of
exfoliation and care
Reduction of acne scars and blemishes
An all over wellness to the skin
Microdermabrasion can be performed in a series of sequential sessions
generally sevem to ten days apart depending on the goal and timeline. As the
skin continues to gain integrity, the microdermabrasion level can be increased
or decreased to attain the highest level of skin health.
Clients frequently ask about at home products for
micro-exfoliation. "Manual" microdermabrasion should really be called crystal exfoliation. This home
treatment does not have the ability to regenerate collagen, elastin fibers,
thicken the epidermis or the dermis. Clients must be aware that using cremes or
gel-based manual microdermabrasion products can over-exfoliate and cause sensitivity issues, including sunburn,
hyper-pigmentation and possible exacberation of acne. Specifically the
vacuuming of the skin creates the reepitheliazation of the stratum corneum and
the body initiates a healing response. The histological changes in the skin are
one of the primary benefits of microdermabrasion in the office.
