Nose Reshaping with Natural Results

Nose reshaping, or rhinoplasty, is a procedure during which plastic surgeons can reshape the nose by reducing or increasing its size, removing a hump, changing the shape of its tip or bridge, narrowing the span of its nostrils, or changing the angle between the nose and upper lip. Sometimes the procedure, if it involves widening the septum, can alleviate breathing or sinus problems.

Today, the plastic surgeon's goal is to make results of a rhinoplasty appear subtle and natural. Many years ago, however, a more radical approach to rhinoplasty left some patients with noses that looked "too fixed."
