Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion is a tried and
true approach to smoothing the skin. However, it is traumatic
to the skin and generally is not as good a solution as laser
skin resurfacing. Dermabrasion, a procedure in which surgeons
scrape the top layers of skin mechanically, using a high-speed
rotary wheel, might still be an indication for some men and
women with deep lines or scars that don't improve with the
laser.
